Zace Barn Frame

Origin : 1830's

Historic Zace repurposed barn frame circa the early 1830’s. This outstanding 40’x72’ Swietzer style barn is now available. The barn is located near the original stone home dated 1831. This barn frame has been well taken care of for almost 200 years and is in pristine condition. There are 5 bents measuring with (4) bays laid out 18’ apart. The hewn timbers are mostly white oak and hickory. With a king post roof layout, it is accented with spectacular 2-sided hewn pole rafters. Everything in this barn is original and looks only the be missing connecting beams at the top side of the king post where they were removed to install the hay trolley and track. This barn will make the perfect repurposed barn home or venue in 2022!
